| Hayate is the knight of wind. He is the first one to come across Himeno in the search for the new pretear.At first they do not get along very well because of Hayate's history with the past pretear. When Himeno learns the truth they begin to overcome the bitterness and become closer as Hayate opens his heart to her. When Himeno is accepted as the new pretear, Hayate takes up a job working at the Awayuki estate to keep an eye out for her. When he combines powers with Himeno, she is able to use the Wind Sword. |
