I first thought about doing my own TCG after I had joined so many and most of them went on hiatus at the same time. When there were less updates to go through on existing tcg's, I started getting more involved. Then I discovered Adobe Photoshop and got into creating cards. Once I found myself with free time, I decided why not start my own? So this is my attempt at it.
BASICS
The basics of any TCG are very basic to say the least. TCG stands for Trading Card Game. You play games and enter contests. As a prize you get cards made from images. In this TCG the cards are made from anime screencaps usually, though for some I may have used other found images. One basic that I hope to keep up with, is that the card decks are only made from Anime that I have seen. If I haven't seen it, it's not here. All decks are made from anime that I personally own first. If I finish those and can't afford at that current time to buy another, than I just might move on to just having it sent to me through my Netflix account.EARNING CARDS
The first way to earn cards, is to join. When you join, you will receive a starter pack containing 3 random cards and 2 cards from your choice deck. The starter deck may possibly be expanded to more random cards if you can find a few things within all this reading. There are a few ways you can earn cards. One of the biggest, play games. Another, enter contests. One of the other biggest, go look at the members page, visit other members' sites, and ask them to trade cards they don't want but you do, for cards that you have, don't want, and they might. In addition to finding the cards you want, you may log each trade on a Trade Card. The link to the page is found in the Games section as well as the details to how it works. You may also receive rewards for mastering a deck as well as a group. On the card decks page, each series is grouped together. If you can master every character as well as the series deck, than you get bonus cards as well as a special master badge that I will personalize for you. You may also buy cards with the thought bubbles in the thought journal. The last way is reffering people. I won't push refferals, but I will reward you if someone says you sent them.MEMBER LEVELS
There are two parts to member levels. As you progress through this TCG, you will earn both Level and Rank. Levels will be based on the card worth you possess in the following fashion:Volume 1 : 1 - 25 cards
Volume 2 : 26 - 50 cards
Volume 3 : 51 - 100 cards
Volume 4 : 101 - 150 cards
Volume 5 : 151 - 200 cards
Volume 6 : 201 - 300 cards
Volume 7 : 301 - 400 cards
Volume 8 : 401 - 600 cards
Volume 9 : 601 - 800 cards
Volume 10 : 800 - 1000 cards
More Volumes will be added as they become necessary, but seeing as I don't have 1000 cards here at the moment, the only way you can reach it is with lots of doubles, and I think it will take awhile yet. For each level gained, you will receive 2 random cards and 1 choice card.
The other part of your level will be your Rank. Rank will be earned based on the number of series you can completely master. As mentioned in the EARNING CARDS section, you can advance rank by mastering every character and the series deck of a series. For each Rank gained, I will personalize a special badge for you with your name on it. If you request a specific picture on the badge, just let me know in the comments section of the form. For each rank you advance, you will receive a random card and 2 choice cards.
Ranks will be as follows:
Rank 2 : Experienced - 2 series mastered
Rank 3 : Wise - 3 series mastered
Rank 4 : Lover - 4 series mastered
Rank 5 : Otaku - 5 series mastered
Rank 6 : Fanatic - 6 series mastered
Rank 7 : Godly - 7 series mastered
Rank 8 : All-Knowing - 8 series mastered
MASTERING
In order to master a deck, you need to collect all the cards in that deck. As a reward for mastering a deck, you may take the master card from the decks page, and you will receive 2 random cards and a choice card. To master a series, the series must first qualify. When each anime is capped, I keep track of all the characters I want to create decks for. Not all characters will go up at the same time and the series deck may not necessarily be posted first. Once all characters and the series deck are posted, I will then mark that series for special master. You may then master everything for that series and recieve a special master to advance your rank while receiving... oohh, more cards. Coolness.CREDITS
I could use this section to credit each idea to the TCG I borrowed the concept from, but to be honest, I've pulled them from everywhere, and most of the games are found in any TCG you look at If there is something I have pulled from somewhere else and it was uniquely their's, I will credit them on the links page so you can head over and check it out. So, credit for ideas goes to every TCG out there, especially the ones I have participated in. As for images for the cards, I don't own the animes. If I did, I'd have a lot more money, and a larger reputation.
